Hi Hong, another Canadian here living and working in Saigon who benefited from your iPhone cracking advice. Would love to buy you a coffee in return for your help if you have the time and you trust that I’m not a creepy stalker type ;) We live in Saigon Pearl and I work at the Green Power building (for now, just took a new job that will have me commuting to Singapore during the week).

Hello Hong,

I would like to thank you for your notes about setting up an iPhone 4 on Mobifone.
I am a Canadian, working in Saigon. I’ve just come back from Canada, where I bought my son’s old unlocked 4 (because he now has the 4S).

I did not need to cut down the SIM card (from my old 3GS) because Mobifone did that for me, but I was not able to get the new 4 to work. A quick search brought up your blog and I am now in business :-)
