Hello! My name is Hong, nice to meet you!
I am an online marketing consultant with experience in strategizing and managing multiple online marketing campaigns for a range of businesses (large and small) in different industries. I find it exciting and fulfilling when the results that I produce really help businesses grow — especially when I work with products, services and individuals that I believe in. If you’re interested in learning more about my experience in this field or would like some advice, feel free to contact me.
About this website…
Occasionally, you will find creative and unique online marketing campaigns that are interesting to me and a few blog posts here and there about my running adventures — regardless, I hope to bring some sort of value to my readers. I have also been brewing with the idea of expanding this blog (or create a new one) into a personal style blog as well. We’ll see what happens!
Why runhongrun.com?
Because the person who owns hongvo.com is using the domain to have a landing page about some handbag company that does not seem to exist to me. I’m waiting for the day for that domain to expire… and not get renewed ;)

The real reason:
For the past few years, I picked up running as an activity. I never thought in my life that I could run more than a mile, nonstop. So I made it a personal challenge to really see how far I could push myself. My first race was a 5 mile, then it went a 12k and then a half marathon! Who would have thought that I could actually get that far?
These races were huge, personal accomplishments for me — I learned that not only did my body have to be in good, physical shape, but the most important part of completing a race was that I had to be ready, mentally, and this holds true for everything else. If you have a strong mind and you stay focused, anything can be done. Regardless of the challenges that you face in your life, if you want something bad enough you can make it happen. Therefore, “runhongrun” is just a reminder for me to never stop and keep going, keep aiming for whatever it is that I want.
Update: I completed my first marathon on October 17, 2010 in San Francisco – the Nike Women’s Marathon! Currently, I am training for the upcoming Nike Women’s Marathon, October 16, 2011.
